Summer Glow

This look is probably my favorite for this summer. Now I haven't been going for bold lips with summer at all but I have been wearing everything else that's on my face. I've been loving to have a glow to my face and one product that I've been using nonstop before I took these pictures is the highlighter that Jaclyn Hill created with Becca Cosmetics. It is amazing!

Now back to what is on my face. I'm still loving the bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream. It covers what I need it to, it is glow but not greasy, and it looks so great on the skin. I have come to realize I can't live without bronzer! I've never had a favorite bronzer until now-- Too Faced Soleil Matte Bronzer. Can we just talk about the way this stuff smells!? It is amazing smelling chocolate everytime I open this bronzer up. To add to my face I like to use a glow blush that adds a subtle glow and my pick lately has been the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Luminous Flush. Lastly all I've been using for eyeshadow to add to the glow is my Stilla eyeshadow in Kitten. This has been my all-time favorite eyeshadow for at least a year. It is just a gorgeous champagne color. Plus it works as an amazing highlight.

Literally any lip color will go with this look and in this picture I am wearing Revlon lipstick in Kiss Me Coral.

On My Lips #2

Lately I haven't wanted to wear a whole lot on my lips or have to worry about the fuss of a bold lip throughout the day. So I recently bought the Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in the shade Heaping Hazelnut. When I put this on it feels like I'm just putting on a lip balm. It's moisturizing and lasts for quite a while o my lips. The color is not something that is totally noticeable but it just gives your lips a slight nudey balm look. The only reason I picked up this color instead of a light pink or red is because I read that when the Olsen twins want a more glossy look to their lips, then they go for this. And I have been OBSESSING over the Olsen twins so much lately so I just had to get it! I should really go pick me up another one of these chubby sticks. Nail Obsession: Spring

I know,  I know... I am wayyyy behind on getting on this bandwagon. Basically everybody and their dog has Essie's 'Bikini So Teeny' nail polish. It is literally the prettiest color of all time! This spring I was wearing this nail color constantly. Once my nails needed to be re-done, I would just re-paint them this color again. The only down side is that I have to either apply 2 perfect coats with no streaks or 3 normal coats. But it is totally worth it because I have never had my nail color complimented on so many times in my life. Like no joke.

Mask #1

It was about time I purchased this face mask! About a year ago I received a sample of the Wei Golden Root purifying mud mask from a Sephora order and all I remember about it was how great my skin felt after I used it and I have always been wanting to purchase it since then. Well during the VIB sale at Sephora a coule weeks ago I was going to splurge on the GLAMGLOW Supermud Clearing Treatment, but then I remembered how much I loved the Wei face mask (which is almost half the price of GLAMGLOW). I didn't want to break my wallet by purchasing the GLAMGLOW so I went for the Wei face mask. I used this twice this past week and I really do like it. My skin was softer and some of my black heads were gone. Also some of the bad stuff in my face has risen to the surface. The separate pods are made to be used once but I only used 1/2 of a pod each time, so I put the pod in a ziplock baggy to save it for the next time. Then the brush that is included is amazing! It is extremely soft and applies the mud mask so well. Now the only thing that I don't like it how tight my skin feels after. It doesn't feel dry when I touch or look at it, but just a little tight.

Mean Girls

So 11 years ago today (April 30, 2004), the best movie EVER was released. It totally shows how high school is like. Maybe a little exaggerated, but close. It's also so relatable. I can't think of a greater movie. What other movie is quoted as much as Mean Girls??

Olay Eye Brightening CC Cream

This eye cream is not one that I was searching for or have even heard anyone talk about before. But I was talking to my step mom about how dry my under eyes had been and she told me about the Olay Eye Brightening CC Cream. She has heard about this from the lady that did her facial, who said is was her favorite eye cream ever! Thankfully my step mom had purchased two of them so I didn't have to go get one myself. Literally after the first time I used it, I noticed how great it was. I have the worst dark circles (as seen in the picture above) and this cream actually does what it says and brightens and slightly corrects the color. Plus it is very hydrating and a little goes a long way. I have also found this to be really great under my makeup.
